The picture on the right shows a typical installation of our benching island unit set at 70cm high. The height can be higher or lower. Supported on 6cm chromium steel legs, a shelf is suspended below for cabling & I T networking systems. Access is through 8cm holes in the worktop.
As this unit had to be narrow due to room size, cross bracing has been introduced for extra stability
The Benching is made from 32mm solid Scandinavian Redwood pine from renewable forests, and finished with two coats of pure wood oil leaving a natural wipe clean surface.
